I love "Song for My Sister." I have been sitting here listening to the song over and over. From the very first beautifully, painfully rendered chord, I was transfixed. “Song for My Sister” leaves my heart aching for anyone who has experienced this kind of pain, but it also leaves my heart singing for anyone who can transform this depth of pain into such beauty and healing.
Thank you for this lovely gift.
I also enjoyed your music dvd and the new version of Left Handed Moon, which has always been one of my favorites.

Hello Virginia, I heard "Song for My Sister" on a NPR radio station a couple of weeks ago and it touched me so deeply that I Googled your name and found your beautiful music.
Your my favorite indie music artist. I bought all of your music that was available on the CD Baby website.

Listening to Virginia's music has always left a heartwarming feeling.I truly love her voice. I can also relate 100% on the u tube video that I watched with tears . My husband was a black American man and we did suffer some persecution but our love was strong so our relationship survived .

I first saw Virginia perform in New Brunswick, NJ about 15 years ago. I found out that night that we both lived in Secaucus. I went to her house and she taught me how to fingerpick. Based on what she taught me, I wrote a song called "Paradise Road". I'm so glad the website has expanded. If she ever performs up here, I will definitely see her.
